A gyanús múltú autókereskedő Terry mindig is azon volt, hogy elkerülje a nagyszabású stikliket. Ám, mikor felbukkan egy régi ismerőse, a gyönyörű modell, Martine, és felajánlja neki a kulcsszerepet egy betörésbiztos bank elleni rablásban, Terry élete nagy lehetőségét látja a felkérésben. Martine egy dollármilliókat érő pénzes és ékszeres széfekkel teli szobát ígér a sikeres akció végén. Ám Terrynek és csapatának fogalma sincs arról, hogy a széfek mindemellett piszkos ügyek titkait is rejtik. Olyan titkokét, melyek pillanatok alatt belekeverik hőseinket a korrupció és a londoni alvilág veszélyes hálózatába, és amelyek elvezetnek egyenesen a legmagasabb kormányhivatalokig és a királyi családig is. A Banki meló egy rosszul sikerült rablás igaz története.
