Az élet feleannyit sem ér néhány jó falat nélkül. Flint gyerekkora óta feltalálónak készül és kalandra éhezik. És mert a kis szigeten, ahol felcseperedik, többnyire unalmas halacskákból áll a menü, elhatározza, hogy olyan gépet készít, amely az esőt is ínycsiklandozó fogásokká változtatja. Az első próba a hamburgerzápor és makarónizivatar még jól sikerül, de a találmány sajnos nem tökéletes, és igen nehéz irányítani: a környéket hamarosan elönti a puding-áradás, a forgalmat ketchup-tornádó nehezíti, és a környéken népbetegséggé válik a gyomorrontás. Flint izgulni akart egy jó ízűt - ezúttal alaposan jóllakhat az izgalommal.

A Dead Space-hez hasonlóan, Dante is megkapta a maga kis egész estét betöltő animejét. Az anime szót csak azért fogom használni, mert ha azt írom, hogy mese, az gyerekesnek hangzik, ez pedig minden, csak nem gyerekes. Aki ismeri Dante Alighieri La Divina Commedia, avagy az Isteni Színjáték című szerzeményét, nos még az is félredobhatja egy kicsit a művet, mert mind a játéknak, mind ennek az animének csak egy ugródeszka. A sötét erdős rész ahogy a játékban ( majd egy DLC formájában), úgy az animéban is elenyésző rész, mondhatni csak utalás szinten tűnik fel, és mire észbe kapunk, Beatrice már meg is halt. Sebaj, legalább gyorsabban bepörögnek az események. Ahogy az alapműben, itt is feltűnik Vergilius, aki végigvezeti, megmutatja Dantenak a pokol kilenc körét. Persze az utolsóban már nem kíséri el, mert ott már Lucifer van. Azt hiszem ennyi elég is a történetről. Aki ismeri a klasszikus irományt, az vegye azt, és jól csavarja ki, mint a véres törölközőt.

Barbie ezúttal Merliah-t alakítja, aki szörfbajnok a napsütötte Malibuban. Az egyik pillanatban még egy átlagos tinédzser, a másikban pedig már egy döbbenetes családi titokra derül fény: ő valójában sellő!
Merliah barátjával, Zuma-val, a delfinnel varázslatos tengeralatti kalandra indul, hogy megmentsék édesanyját, Óceánia királynőjét. Merliah újdonsült sellőbarátai segítségével végül az egész óceáni birodalmat megmenti. Kalandja közben pedig ráébred, hogy ha van valami, ami által másoktól különbözünk, az egyúttal akár hatalmas előnyt is jelenthet számunkra.

2131-ben járunk, vége a 3. világháborúnak, a föld a megsemmisülés szélén jár. Deunan Knute a legendás, fiatal harcos és egykori társa, a háború során végzetes sérüléseket szenvedő és cyborggá operált Briareos a génmanipulációval fejlesztett Bioroidok által uralt Olympos városába érkeznek. A Bioroidoknak sokkal rövidebb élet adatik meg mint az embereknek, mivel génmanipulációval elnyomták bennük a szaporodás ösztönét. Az emberek többsége fél és retteg a Bioroidoktól, így amikor a Bioroidok életciklusának meghosszabításán dolgozó központ megsemmisül egy terrorista támadástól, kitör a háború. Deunan és Briareos csatlakoznak Olympos rendfenntartóihoz és szembeszállnak a Bioroidok fenyegetésével. Ekkor bukkan fel a legendás "Appleseed kód".

Vadászok törnek az erdőre, egyedül a helyi vadőr tolókocsihoz kötött fia és az ő nagyothalló kutyája próbálja megállítani a vadorzókat. A környék azonban nemcsak puskaropogástól hangos, egy vándorcirkusz is a közeli réten ver sátrat. A Trilibusz cirkusszal különös, hóbortos állatsereglet is érkezik, akiket Balfék és Jobbfék gondoz - ám a társulat igazi feje a direktor félelmetes felesége, a titokzatos múltú Arcadonna. Amikor Kis Vuk, a bátor növendékróka körülszaglászik a lakókocsik körül, az egyik plakáton a saját, rég nem látott apját ismeri fel. Gondolkodás nélkül a kiszabadítására siet. A támadás eredménye azonban csupán a teljes káosz.
Vuknak most egyszerre kell megmentenie a családját, kiszabadítania a cirkuszban raboskodó állatokat és elűznie az egyre bátrabban pufogtató vadászokat. Egy fiatal és tapasztalatlan róka számára már a küldetés harmada is lehetetlen: Vuk azonban nem gondolkodik sokat, belevág élete legnagyobb kalandjába. Néhány segítőkész gyerek, pár bolondos négylábú és sok bátorság segítségével bármi megtörténhet.

Charsles "Chuck" Baker kapitány (Dwayne Johnson), a Nasa űrhajósa, sok-sok fényévnyi távolságra landol hazájától a Földtől. Úgy véli eljött a nagy pillanat és felfedezett egy olyan bolygót amire ember még nem tette be lábát. Ám hamarosan észreveszi nem ő az első ezen a bolygón, kicsi zöld lények lakják ezt a planétát. Épp egy kerti parti közepébe csöppen, ahol a kis zöld bolygólakók grillezgettek. Chuck kapitány ijedtében a furcsa zöld lények láttán menekülni kezd. Közben egyre több kis bolygó lakóba botlik, akik épp úgy megvannak rémülve a találkozástól, mint ő.
