Jack Conrad (Steve Austin) halálbüntetésének végrehajtására vár egy korrupt közép-amerikai börtönben. Egy nap felkeresi egy menő televíziós producer, aki ajánlatot tesz: visszanyerheti szabadságát, ha részt vesz egy illegális valóságshow-ban.
