A jó detektív sosem nyaral. A baleset pillanatok alatt következik be. Dwight pánikba esik és elhajt, bár egy szemtanú meglátja őket. A baleset résztvevői más és más módon élik meg a tragédiát, miközben a nyomozás is megkezdődik. Mindkét apa fájdalmas döntésre kényszerül.
